General Rules and House Policies

House Rules

  • All instructions given by hotel staff regarding house rules must be followed. Complaints can be directed to management.
  • Use of public spaces and corridors within Hotel Breathe is at your own risk.
  • All guests must present a valid physical identity document. Failure to do so may result in refusal of check-in without a refund.
  • Children must be supervised by parents or guardians at all times in public areas.
  • In compliance with Liquor and Catering Legislation, alcoholic beverages will not be served to guests under 18. Staff may request proof of age if there is any doubt.
  • Alcohol will not be served to individuals suspected of intoxication to maintain a pleasant atmosphere.
  • Food and beverages left in a room after check-out will be discarded.
  • It is strictly prohibited to host paid guests in rooms for sexual activities.
  • The number of occupants in a room must not exceed the reserved amount. All guests must register and present identification at the reception.
  • Decorations like confetti are not permitted. Please confirm with reception which decorations are allowed.
  • Due to fire safety concerns, candles, incense, or any other open flames are not allowed in rooms. Activating the fire alarm system is prohibited.
  • Pets are not allowed in the hotel.
  • The minimum age to check in is 23 years.

Liability

  • Hotel management and staff are not liable for the loss, theft, or damage of personal property.
  • Guests are encouraged to use the in-room safes for added security.
  • Hotel Breathe reserves the right to access a guest room if deemed necessary.

Video Surveillance

  • Security cameras are installed in and around the hotel. By staying at the hotel, guests consent to being recorded. Recordings may be shared with authorities in case of incidents.
  • The hotel complies with privacy regulations, using surveillance exclusively for the safety and security of guests and staff.
  • Staff will only access guest rooms with permission, except in emergencies or when there is suspicion of rule violations.

Smoking

  • Smoking, including electronic cigarettes, is strictly prohibited throughout the hotel.
  • Smoking in rooms or public areas will result in a €250.00 fine.

Noise Pollution

  • To maintain a peaceful environment, causing noise disturbances is not permitted.

Lost and Found

  • Lost and found items are kept for up to 30 days. Guests can contact reception for assistance.

Hotel Property

  • Hotel property must remain within the premises. Damage or theft of hotel property may result in liability for repair or replacement costs.
  • Guests are responsible for their belongings. The hotel is not liable for loss, theft, or damage. Parking is at guests' own risk.

Check-In

  • A valid ID must be presented at check-in. The minimum check-in age is 23.

Fire Protection

  • Fire safety instructions are available in each room.
  • In case of a fire alarm, evacuate the building immediately. Follow staff instructions during emergencies.

Emergency Exits

  • Emergency exits are clearly marked and equipped with lighting. These exits are only for emergencies and must not be used for regular entry or exit.

Respectful Behavior

  • Unwanted intimacies or harassment of any kind will not be tolerated.
  • Respectful treatment of staff and guests is expected. Sexual harassment will be reported to authorities.
  • Violence or threats of violence are strictly prohibited.

Narcotics

  • The use, possession, or trading of drugs, including laughing gas, is prohibited. Violators may face police intervention and removal without a refund.
  • Guests visibly under the influence of alcohol or drugs may be denied check-in or asked to leave without refund.

Zero Tolerance Policy

  • Hotel Breathe enforces a zero-tolerance policy for violations of house rules. Guests will be asked to leave immediately without a refund, and any deposits will be forfeited.
  • By checking in, guests agree to abide by all house rules. In any situation not covered by these rules, hotel management will make the final decision.
